Bhaja Govindam - The Introduction

"Bhaja Govindam" means a lot of things traditionally. But simply put, it means "Seek Divinity"
Seeking is not searching.
Seeking is within. Searching outside.
Seeking is when we are sure that what we Seek exists.
Searching is when we are not sure, but if we get it, its there.

Seek Divinity - Why??
1. Divinity is my nature. Happiness, peace, love in infinite magnitude is natural to me. So unknowingly we all seek it at all times.
2. Divinity brings us to balance. Balance is the only way to handle chaos. Balance within gives strength to handle chaos outside.
3. Divinity is the HIGHEST potential in me as a human being - the best i can be, the best i can get. Why settle for anything less??

So, those who seek love, peace, knowledge, bliss, those who want nothing but the best in whatever they do, those who are even attempting to live in balance - each one is a seeker of Divinity - irrespective of whther they r into formal spirituality or not.

But the difference is - On the spiritual path, we seek Divinity "consciously". That is very important because the moment my action is backed by intention - it bcomes infallible.

In other words, there is never a spiritual failure. We cant fail if we intend to seek divinity. We may fall. But every fall is actually a rise!! What a strange journey!!! THINK.

Quotes for today -
"Live Intentionally" - Buddha
"Don't be scared to fall in your spiritual journey. Playing in HIS lap, if you fall, you can only fall into HIS lap!" - Gurudev

Reminder for Today - We think 60000 thoughts a day. How many are backed by an intention to seek the Divine (the best, the highest, the maximum)?

Practice for Today - In every action i do, may i seek the Best, the Divine. No compromise at all - even if it is somethng as insignificant as brushing our teeth!! Yes, when we do ordinary things like that with intentional extraordinariness, we are "Seeking Divinity"

Bhaja Govindam. 😊
